The JATCO JF017E, also known as RE0F10E in Nissan applications and commonly referred to as CVT8 High Torque, is an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission developed for larger, higher-torque vehicles. It uses a torque converter with lock-up clutch and variable primary and secondary pulleys, with different internal configurations produced depending on vehicle and engine application.
